Process

After spending all day getting to harvesting and getting back home... scraping off the thorns and brown outer bark, scraping off the green inner bark to dry for teas and everything devils club...im left with a stick that needs one final shaving with the dull edge of a knife, to make sure the stick is fully clean of any remaining small amounts of clear inner bark. They dry brown and I end up with a big pile like this to add to oils to infuse or grind into powder forndevils club soaps! Then onto sawing sanding and awling beads! Its a long process!
